Married couple of Will Long and Danielle Baquet-Long, more well-known as ambient project Celer has recently released its next work under the title Breeze Of Roses on label Dragon's Eye Recordings. By the way word "next" isn't accidental here...
New release by the scene veteran on German Hymen really attracts attention and charms. We were waiting when this moment will finally come, as the previous album Redeye raised too much feelings and impressions, and we waited for continuation not in vain...
This time sniper's shot was more accurate than it was with the previous album Epoch. Release The Sniper's Veil starts with track "Temporarius Delerium", by the way, with powerful break-beat rhythm which charges you with energy very much, there is enough energy and open drive...
...Perhaps this music is only for industrial performances in a club full of people with extreme energy with their attention turned into their own dark quasispaces, people who don't bother much of the musical accompaniment. At least at home I can't listen to it and it doesn't stand out for something special among a ton of other breakcore/rhythmic noise releases which I get from time to time...
...If you haven't been to clubs of 90s, haven't heard Station 2000 and don't know anything about the first raves, than most likely you won't like this album and it will be absolutely incomprehensible...
It seems that Spectraliquid is one of those labels which follow the rule 'better less but more'. At the moment there are 6 releases in their collection, but this recording company from Greece already has gained the authority among the listeners of interesting electronic music. A Wake A Week is one more alter ego of Dave Dando-Moore who's familiar to us due to the project Detritus...
The debut work of Anhel Liaros and final part of the series Mutant Dubstep on Spectraliquid. Mobthrow, one of the key label's persons represents on this EP his own vision what dubstep must be. Strictly speaking, it's already not dubstep, but a mixture of breakstep, grime, some industrial elements, also new jazz, idm, ambient and all these treasures in 5 tracks...
The release we are going to discuss saw the light in 2007, all copies of the compact disc were sold out, though the album is still a serious interest. This is the work which must have been released on Mille Plateaux after cd/dvd Ran Slavin - Insomniac City and the album Edith Progue - Timeline. Unfortunately the legendary label was cancelled forever and the album will be released on the Scandinavian Miasmah recordings...
