The second release of the young Moscow label How2make records made by two musicians and great fans of experimental music, jazz and hip-hop Mujuice and Dzhem. The idea was to create clicks'n'cuts on the basis of jazz, such experiments were already made by ~scape. It was rather characteristic of How2make records to pay attention not only to music but also to the quality of design and the album's cover. It's proved by the special paper with a cassette depicted on it, information about the release hidden under the cover of the album is extremely minimalistic. All tracks are untitled, the author is intentionally hidden. We can only suppose who and where created this very composition.
The first track of the album is in fact its visiting card - fine immitation of true jazz instruments, endless rustles of vinyl records as well as in all other tracks of the album. DJ Dzhem has a wide collection of vinyl, nevertheless he spends much time in the network, searches for interesting samples and perfectly uses them in his records. Micro-electronic autumn clicks'n'cuts jazz is the key difference between this album and other releases of similar music - a great number of melodies, slice by slice they form the tracks. Melodies with the imitaion of different instruments: keys, contrabass, wind instruments and drums. It's the best way to spend free time in autumn - to hide in a cozy cafe and watch the rain and hear the rustles of autumn. And jazz will be quite a tangible ingredient in this cocktail.
In the third track we hear cut micro-voices speaking and singing about something, of no doubt, toy music from a faraway galaxy.
All the following tracks (except those with experimental hip-hop elements) are evidently the fancies of the authors. At least the melodies and the representation of the material are of that kind - light, semitransparent sounding and surprising changes of general mood at the same time.
