...Such interesting alloy was created by two Russian musicians - Alexander Ananyev (aka Sleepy Town Manufacture) and Stanislav Vdovin (aka Unit 21). Ananyev made the ambient cover of slow electronic backings and field records, Vdovin textured this substance by his master clicks and vinyl plates' crackling. By means of sounds various views are drawn inside the imaginary room, these are the pictures of the past and dreams of the future...

To my mind, joint work of Tomas Phillips and Dean King Les Mailles is one of the most interesting Monochrome Visions's releases. They were inspired by the short experimental film "Meshes of the Afternoon" by Maya Deren, who worked in the middle of the previous century...
... Under the dust cover hide about 60 pages with ambient photos of forest, they are a little bit fuzzy, indistinct and when first seen they seem to be repetitive. But these are only first impressions until music starts playing. After several times you listen to the album you start understanding both the photos and the concept of this release...
Further Materials is the collection of works by label LINE's coordinator Richard Chartier. This person exalts minimalism in audiodesign to the extreme, outrageous levels. All tracks presented here were already released in thematical compilations on different labels between 2002 and 2005...

It was very interesting what he should record after the thoughtful, melancholical Summer Feelings which I liked very much. The mood of music didn't change, though much of the emotional filling disappeared...
