The last release is the joint work of Ignaz Schick and Dawid Szczesny recorded by the musicians in two phases - at the first stage they made studio records of the materials played on the radio the day before, the second phase included recording at Dawid's house in Warsaw after their minitour through Germany.
In The View Underneath the musicians used beloved means of sound projecting - in the course of time Ignaz created his own style - working with various sounds made out of interactions of various objects (paper, wood, plastic and other materials) with metal plate. Dawid presents sound substances created by means of old vinyl. Finally we have more that 40-minutes of audio performance - a mixture of vinyl warmth and metal cold of experiments. Subtle sound strings of high frequency constantly cut through rough rustles and rustling noise, voluminous sound picture. Despite the whole concept depicted above, this work is rich in various tiniest details. All these squeak, rustle and noise are well-packed into 8 integral compositions listened without a pause.
The View Underneath is of no doubt one of the most outstanding label's releases, their ideas and methods of their realization in experimental music are really inexhaustible.
