Andrey Kiritchenko - Kniga Skazok

Andrey Kiritchenko - Kniga SkazokI'll mention at once that this release could be easily found in the catalogue of any European label releasing music close to this one. But due to the circumstances that it appeared in the heart of the German breakcore label Ad Noiseam. That's not understandable how it happened as all compositions of this release are the fine modern synthesis of micro-techno and clicks'n'cuts and all is done at the very high level. Andrey Kiritchenko is the musician from the distant industrial Kharkov. He carefully gathered his own collection of sketches from the world of micro-music, he joined it with concept and called the album Kniga Skazok.

It doesn't have any common features with greater part of production from the catalogue of Ad Noiseam Kniga Skazok. There appears even a feeling that it lives its own parallel life, far from noisy and syncopated rhythms. It's really a book, each title of which is like a separate piece of art, as if it tells a new story, fairy-tale. It concerns the whole album. Nothing unnecessary. Read the titles of compositions on your own - "Myth", "Sleeping Beauty", "Cheers", "My Fairy", "Siren", "Skazka/Svetlo", "Feja"... A small greenish box with smart dance tracks can easily catch you and lead to the world of dreams. Here one must be more careful as dreams come true and eventually all fairy-tales become real.
If pulsations of the two first compositions of the album coincide with your inner rhythm you will have to listen to this music for long, possibly, somebody will want to stay in it forever. Andrey's micro-techno is too attractive and breathtaking to pass by it, it's impossible. From the first track 'Parable' something becomes active and awakens inside you. Your room starts to turn into ultra-modern space chill out, new fancies appear and thoughts get new form.
My favorite composition here is "Feja". As for me, it's a very good dub-tech, close to the mood and creativity of Two Lone Swordsmen. Without a hurry "Feja" starts its movements and its ending is absolutely unpredictable. Everything is the same as in a dream but it's in reality. This moment of magic is perhaps the most important moment here. All fairy-tales appear for some reason and night is the best time for miracles. We must just listen attentively.
