Nest of Iterations is the debut album of audio/video performer Lissom (Tana Sprague). Ambient textures, created by her in the first tracks of the album were received from different sources and were processed by electronic devices. These textures stream along the walls as dense, thick current so as if they were liquid. Delicate mixture of deep droning and noisy rustlings layers in such tracks as "Fallow" or "Forage" lie down in the space as heavy load. And it feels as if they were hampering breathing. Moreover, the second part of the album, for example, tracks "Billow" and "Stark" opens for the listener wide night horizon, gives him more air and the feeling of flight. These tracks reminded me of the Hecq - Night Falls released by label Hymen records previous year. In Nest of Iterations live component successfully becomes intertwined with synthetic fibres forming immersing and elegant drone ambient. It must be said, it doesn't amaze at all, but still is pleasant in every way.
