interview: Lawrence English 05.03.2010
interview: Lawrence English...For me there is no difference between sound and music. The qualities of sound I almost always find are 'musical' in nature - whether that be temporality, tone, pitch, dynamics etc. I can listen to hydrophonic recordings from the coast of Queensland or a psych folk group from Japan and find both as enjoyable and inspiring as each other. The detail of the sound matter is what I am interested in - the unique qualities or aspects that make a particular sound or combination of sounds engaging...

review: Loscil - Endless Falls 27.02.2010
review: Loscil - Endless FallsPerhaps in creative work of each musician there comes the moment, when after release of some especially successful album all next albums are in some way compared to it. For me such an album by Canadian project Loscil became Plume, though I can't compare it to the new record Endless Falls...

review: FOURM / Shinkei / Luigi Turra - Clean Form... 27.02.2010
review: FOURM / Shinkei / Luigi Turra - Clean Forms...If you want to hear this music for 100%, then having seen the people involved in this CDr, it's better to isolate yourself at once from any outer sound sources. Even using headphones you may lose the composition clue or get confused of which exactly sound is transmitted by the acoustic system, and which one comes from outside. In general it is a good field for experiments...

review: Jamie Drouin - A Three Month Warm Up 27.02.2010
review: Jamie Drouin - A Three Month Warm UpAlbum A Three Month Warm Up of Canadian audio designer Jamie Drouin released by label Dragon's Eye Recordings in summer 2009 has in its basis 124 field records made during three months in suburbs of Victoria (British Columbia, Canada). review: d_rradio - Leaves 27.02.2010
review: d_rradio - LeavesProject d_rradio has a little bit tangled title. It is read as "D. R. Radio" and stands for "deathrowradio". review: Esplendor Geometrico - Pulsión 10.02.2010
review: Esplendor Geometrico - PulsiónAlbum Pulsion by headliners of the Spanish industrial scene appeared in 2009 and at once attracted attention of almost all fans of this music and those who are in the theme. review: Ard Bit - Spanon 10.02.2010
review: Ard Bit - SpanonOne of the releases by the Japanese label Symbolic Interaction in 2009 became the debut album Spanon by the Netherlander Ard Janssen representing here his alter-ego Ard Bit. Perhaps with his album Janssen demonstrated in general that music which appeared in the result of splitting out from IDM surface and its development in averaged variant has mainly in common the design of most sounds...
