The Latvian network label Dirty Deal gave birth to the second net release - mini-album in the form of a postcard by the Riga musician and producer Martinez Gonzalez. This musician has already played several instruments and taken part in various musical projects, he also has released his compositions in different compilations and endlessly, today he presents his EP - Nice That We Have Met. The title of the album tells the listeners about the basic conception of this musical work.This mini-album starts with the track "Whales" - the intro part. Funny and original sounds from cartoons, landing of aliens from another galaxies - that's the beginning of the album. The lightness and emotionality of the second composition "Andra Dzuba Katrina" reminds the the listeners of Ulrich Schnauss's creativity. This is the track about and for girls - recommended to listen in a sunny spring mood. The sample with a telephone call and voices runs through the whole composition, this talk is not over yet. The main track of the album "Nice That We Have Met" is the most positive one among the 4 compositions, it keeps beating its syncopated drum rhythms of Richard D. James.
The last track "White Duck" is the special Gonzalez's remake of his colleague's Sarkanais composition. This very album started the work of Dirty Deal and its releases production. The orginality of this remake consists in simple change of mood - turns from the slight depressive style to melodical style bursting with its emotions. Few musicians manage to gain such perfect results with the help of their music and various musical effects.
