Sentimental-paranoid morbid masterpiece of the French musician Nebulo released on the label Hymen. Sometimes such works pleasantly surprise and impress, sometimes vice versa, in general most of the works of Hymen musician demand special attitude. Most of this label's releases are some kind of musical pictures supplied with visual photos of its manager Stefan Alt. If we associate albums with pictures, some time later after listening to this music there appears such a feeling that these pictures are authentic sketches from life and creative work of the musicians. The idea of photodesign of compact-discs belongs to the label Touch and J.Wozencroft, that was at his suggestion to make this very design of musical production, especially it concerned experimental music. Well, as for the Nebulo's Kolia...The first track's title "Ant" suggests certain thoughts... Wonderful track that created the atmosphere of awaitening of something sad, obscure and paranoid.
The next track "Automnal" is absolutely different - from the second minute bursts of furious break-core are changed by nice piano sounds. Definetely, music for lonely vampires, no other variants. This theme is followed by "Dr-ill". Nostalgia for drill'n'bass - music with superbit high-speed rhythms. The title speaks for itself. "Darkopale" - music gets more gloomy and sad. Melancholy in each drum stroke. In whole the album Kolia is very uneven, muddled and chaotic. This young French musician has good potential for further creations of something interesting and original. Especially if he adds visual support for his music - who knows, maybe he'll be the next Speedy J. The first track "Ant" is the pearl of the whole album also the mysterious creature depicted on the disc image.
